Since Lists & Favorites seem to be the in thing these days, I've taken the time to highlight my personal Top 30 golf courses in Washington state. Since I've not played all of Washington's golf courses, I could easily be omitting several that could have made my list. That being said, here is my Top 30 favorite Washington public golf courses in alphabetical order:

TOP 30

Avalon Golf Links
Apple Tree Golf Course
Bear Mountain Ranch
Canyon Lakes Golf Course
Chambers Bay Golf Course
Druids Glen Golf Course
Gamble Sands Golf Course

And if you must know, and mostly because I am sucker for the sweeping vistas and generally dry & sunny conditions associated with golf courses in Eastern Washington, my personal favorite golf course in all of Washington is.... Gamble Sands. Feel free to argue my pick in the comments below

Chris;
It was great to see you and Connie in B'ham in January.
Your Top 30 pretty much mirrors mine, though Wine Valley is still my personal favorite. It was amazing to read down the list and realize how many of the courses I have been fortunate to play. The few that I somehow missed have been put on my to-do list.
If it was a Top 31, would Lake Padden have made the cut. As I get older it just seems to fit better and better every round.
Hi to Connie. Hope to see you both down the way, and maybe even share a round with you.

Very nice to see you too Hector! Not sure where Lake Padden would have been ranked - I have 6 criteria I use when ranking courses - Again these are personal preferences so my rankings could certainly differ from other folks

They are: 1) Greens conditioning 2) Overall course conditioning 3) Course layout 4) Crowds & Pace of Play 5) Amenities 6) Scenery

I also need to preface my rankings with the idea that for some courses on my list, it's been several years since I last played them - And conditions can certainly change over time
