starburst 150aWhat a great golf course. Highlander is not terribly long, but tightish fairways and undulating greens make it a test for all levels. It's especially friendly from the ladies (ooops, forward tees) so it's a perfect track for couples' golf. The 9th and 17th holes require forced carries over deep canyons, with the 17th having a big drop in elevation as well. In my opinion, the 17th at Highlander is one of the more unique holes anywhere in the Northwest. Due to its location on a plateau overlooking the Mighty Columbia River, The Highlander Golf Course sports one of the more scenic locations in the State! The restaurant is as good as a golf course can offer. An outside deck provides panoramic views and I've yet to be disappointed in any of the fare. The Highlander is definitely worth a play. We love this course. It's friendly for the ladies and my wife and I make it a point to play the Highlander as often as possible. She loves it and the scenery is tough to beat!
