Home of the University of Washington golf teams, Washington National Golf Club is an 18-hole championship layout located in Auburn, WA. I’ve played WNGC a handful of times and recommend it for sure. As you would expect from a layout which hosts PAC-12 golf competitions, it can play as long as you care. The well-manicured fairways meander through native grasses, and trees. Bunkers of all sizes litter the course as does natural and man-made water hazards. Consequently, if your golf ball has a case of the crooked, you’ll struggle to score. If you happen to be enjoying one of those rare days where you are hitting it near where you are aiming, few better golf experiences are to be had. As for the amenities, they are second to none. Driving range, practice bunker, and 11,000 sq.ft. putting green make Washington National a great place for working on your weaknesses.
