I’ve played Whidbey Golf Club a handful of times, and recommend you give it a play. It’s a semi-private 18-hole layout. It has an active membership but allows public play. The course is challenging in spots, open in others but overall, it’s just a fun play. There is plenty of variety between holes and use of most clubs in your bag is required. Trees, doglegs, water, and o.b . stakes all await golf balls with directional disorders. While most holes allow some bailout opposite of the big trouble, there are several holes that demand you step up and hit a golf shot. If you pull it off, you’ll be rewarded with a good chance to make a low score. Because it serves a healthy membership, you can count on the course conditioning being first rate. Ditto the amenities.
