Unless you live in a cave, Chambers Bay Golf Course needs no real introduction. It is one of the premier courses on the entire west coast and has hosted multiple championship events. Not the least of which was the controversial 2015 U.S. Open. I've played there twice, both times were prior to the replacement of the fescue greens. In my opinion, the fescue greens were the one drawback to an otherwise spectacular layout. The scenery is awesome, and the amenities are what one would expect from such a facility. Beware that walking is mandatory at Chambers Bay (no power carts) and they don't give away golf. Be prepared to drop triple digits for your day on the course. However, for true golf enthusiasts, Chambers Bay must be on your list!
