GW Notes:I've played both courses (Cascade & Olympic) at Gold Mountain and was impressed by each. The Olympic is the newer and more highly touted of the two layouts, but neither will disappoint. As is typical of Olympic Peninsula golf courses, they are carved from large growth timber stands. Keeping one's ball in the fairway is crucial for scoring and enjoyment. Gold Mountain is kept in excellent shape and offers all the amenities one would expect from a 36-hole golf facility. It is a must-play for golf enthusiasts.
