GW Notes: Twin Rivers Golf Course is a laid-back rural track yet is kept in good condition and is an appropriate play for all skill levels. I’ve played Twin Rivers although it was some years ago. I enjoyed the round and for a family-owned, out of the way facility, I was pleasantly surprised. At over 6,000 yards from the back tees, Twin Rivers is long enough, but it’s the strategic bunkering, tree-lined fairways and water hazards that give the course most of its bite. The layout is flat, it’s an easy walk and the greens are well maintained. The location is scenic, and one hole runs along the Snoqualmie river. As it happened, I played Twin Rivers in autumn. The colors on the many trees made the course a living postcard. A covered driving range, small pro shop and food & beverage services round out the amenities.
