GW Notes:  I've played Swinomish Golf Links a couple times and it's not a bad track. The layout provides a combination of open and flat, and tight and hilly. There are a couple of fairways that run adjacent, so paying attention to incoming tee shots is advised. The greens are medium size and roll pretty well, especially considering the amount of play - Being associated with the Swinomish Casino, the overall conditioning is above average - At least it was on the days I played - And considering the price of golf in general, the rates at Swinomish are reasonable - Perhaps the best feature of the course is the scenery - Swinomish GL is nestled between Fidalgo Bay and Similk Bay with Mount Baker as a backdrop. Consequently, the views on nice days can be post card-like. Since it's only 20 mins. from the Anacortes ferry dock, Swinomish Golf Links can easily be added as part of your golf trip the San Juan Islands.
