GW Notes: Because it’s located in one of the most spectacular parts of Washington State, it’s hard to believe I haven’t teed it up at Surfside Golf Course. Of course, their promo pics having it look like a must play, but I can’t verify their propaganda. Here’s what they say about themselves: “Surfside Golf Course is a public course located at the north end of the Long Beach Peninsula. The Course is nestled in the coastal pines with an array of wildlife giving it a parkland feel. The pristine tees, fairways and greens are enhanced by the coastal breezes and relaxing sound of the nearby surf. Surfside Golf Course offers a driving range, rental clubs, power carts and pull cart rentals and inexpensive green fees. We also have tournament packages and will assist you in planning a great event.” Since theres not many golfing options, and Longbeach is a popular tourist destination, I imagine the course can get busy during the peak months.
