GW Notes: I’ve had some outstanding golf experiences at Sun Willows Golf Course. A bunch of us used to play in their annual 2-man Chapman tournament each spring and we played for at least 10 consecutive years. My partner and I won it one year, an ooooh, the stories I could tell. Anyway, I haven’t played the course in a while but assuming it hasn’t degraded, I recommend you give it a play. The fairways are wide enough to encourage driver off the tees. Occasional water, sporadic trees, and a few out-of-bounds opportunities give the course its bite. Oh, it is Eastern Washington so the wind can also play its part at times. Other than that, Sun Willows can produce low scores provided your golf ball has learned to obey. The course is well maintained all around and you’ll enjoy the pricing.
