GW Notes: I played Riverwoods golf course a bunch of years ago when it was the Willapa Harbor golf course. Willapa Harbor closed several years ago and it was recently purchased by a local family - When it operated as Willapa Harbor, it was one of the oldest courses in the state - When I played it, it was a decent track - Old growth timber, water and native grasses were all waiting errant shots - But since it was grown over and neglected when the Hamilton family bought it, I can't speak to current conditions - I know they started selling tee times back in January of 2024, so it's likely matured enough that condoning should not be an issue. In addition to golf they also offer a small RV park. So if traveling the Washington coast, Riverwoods is worth checking out. If you've played here recently, please comment below
