GW Notes: I've played Peninsula Golf Club and would recommend it when traveling the Olympic Peninsula. For years it was a private facility but has since opened for public play. The layout is nice enough, although several holes run parallel and occasional errant shots can infiltrate your space. Otherwise, the holes are unique and challenging. Due to the high membership, the course is kept in great shape and the greens are a treat. Trees line some fairways while others are wide and open. Risk-reward riddles the course tempting you to do things you probably shouldn't. Which I did:-( On nice days you'll get views of the Olympic Mountains and the Strait of Juan de Fuca. Practice green, driving range and restaurant complete the experience at Peninsula Golf Club. Your comments are welcome below.
