GW Notes:  I've played Cedar Irons (Formerly North Shore) Golf Course a couple of times and it is nice enough. As a side note, the course has been recently renamed and claims to have been renovated. I haven't played it since it's upgrade, so hopefully your experience will also be improved. Anyway, the fairways are a little tight with trees and penalty strokes awaiting on several holes. The course is kept in decent shape, and the greens putt true and medium fast. In addition to a challenging and affordable golf course, Cedar Irons boasts a covered and open real grass driving range, a chipping green and two putting greens. A stocked pro shop and food & beverage services round out the amenities. The location is convenient, and you'll enjoy your day at Cedar irons.
