GW Notes:  I've played Horseshoe Lake Golf Course and would recommend it even though it beat me up. The course was well maintained, and the putting surfaces were true. However tight fairways, tall timber, water hazards, and bunkers, are just waiting for errant shots. Whatever it takes to keep your ball in the fairway is the strategy you need to employ. Pounding the Big Dog off the tee all day is not necessarily your best play. A lesson I learned the hard way. Anyone with experience at Horseshoe Lake is invited to leave comments below.
